Maggie Shannon is a photographer specializing in portrait and documentary work. For her project “Extreme Pain, But Also Extreme Joy”, Shannon photographed midwives in Los Angeles and rural Michigan as they navigate new protocols caused by the Covid19 pandemic. ”
